ESA’s Council meeting in Bremen

The Ministerial Council of the European Space Agency (ESA) is currently meeting in Bremen, Germany. The meeting, which began on 26 November 2025, will continue on 27 November.

The meeting can be followed live on ESA’s website.

At the meeting, a political resolution and a proposal from the Director General are proposed for approval. These will define the priorities of European space policy for the next decade. The guidelines emphasize **sustainability, competitiveness, strategic autonomy, expertise, and international cooperation**.

The goal is to strengthen Europe’s position as a global space actor and to ensure that space investments deliver broad societal benefits.

Finland is represented at the meeting by:
